We cater to beginner up to experienced paddlers and Southern Paddling Guide is not just another kayak rental company. We pride ourselves on focused customer attention. We only accommodate up to 5 paddlers per trip to ensure our customer focus.

Bio
The company owner, Dale Dauphinais is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He served 24 years as an aircraft maintenance technician with 18 years in Combat Search and Rescue and retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt/E-8.) He deployed multiple times throughout his career starting with Operations Desert Shield/Storm and ending his career with Operation Unified Protector (Libya).
He has always been an outdoor enthusiast with experience in minimalist survival and enjoys hunting and fishing as much as possible. He applies some of this experience in to this business. His guided trips are full of facts about nature and the river system. He absolutely enjoys sharing his knowledge of the great outdoors with others.
